Annual back-to-school art supply drive
Annually, Kindred Noir hosts an Back to School Art Supply Drive dedicated to expanding access to creative resources for Black and underserved students. This initiative provides essential art materials to Chicago Public Schools, ensuring that young creatives have the tools they need to explore self-expression, build confidence, and engage fully in their education. As a growing annual effort, the Art Supply Drive reflects our commitment to creative equity—affirming that access to the arts is not a privilege reserved for a few, but a right all students deserve.

Why It Matters
For many students, access to creative materials can depend on what their families or classrooms can afford. By providing essential art supplies, we help remove one barrier to creative participation.
Art is more than an extracurricular activity. Creative experiences give young people opportunities to develop confidence, imagination, problem-solving skills, self-expression, and a sense of belonging.
Through the Art Supply Drive, Kindred Noir is investing in creative access from the start of the school year.
